STL Series

	The STL series is the ideal choice when a large storage capacity is needed. The STL series covers the field of 3'000 to 20'000 MTP capacity. The STL incubators use a unique design that copes with extremely frequent accesses while maintaining ultra stable conditions inside the climate controlled chamber. Plates are accessed through a small automatically controlled door (Gate) that open during access only, thereby minimizing gas exchange. As the common interface of the incubator and the robotic environment a transfer-station is located in front of the Gate. Full manual access is possible through a large user door and removable cassettes (Stackers), allowing the user to manually access and load products. The STL-Series robotic handling is completely located inside the incubation chamber. The handling allows full random access on all plates. LiCONiC was the first to implement a shovel based handling system, which transports plates by loading them on an extendable surface (shovel) during transport.	The handling of the STL series consists of a transport mechanism and a storage that holds the removable stackers.This mechanism transports single plate from the storage to or from the external transfer station. The STF series features LiCONiC's new Flush Gate that simplifies integration by avoiding any obstacle in the Gate area. The STL handling accepts most plate types without modification, teaching, or adaptation. Even simultaneous use of various plate types is possible. The STL series includes four different size models that cover the range of 2'500 to over 20'000 MTP plate capacity. Temperatures range from -20'C to +70'C. Both, high and low humidity versions are available. All units allow full remote operation. For future investments and expansion of storage capacity the STL incubators may be cascaded. The STL models are perfectly suitable for crystallization applications. Low vibration is ensured by placing the climate part of the unit separated from the incubation chamber.
